You want to make sure that you have a consistent flow of traffic and leads coming in to your sales funnel every single day.

Knowing how to get targeted traffic to your website is the key to make money blogging.

Another key to success is to model internet marketers who are already successfully doing what you want to do.

With all of this in mind, here’s how to master the Kung Fu of blogging even when you’re the new guy (or gal) just learning how to blog.

And this “kung-fu” traffic stuff gets a TON of traffic….

    – Without being an SEO guru.

    – Without being a Social Media specialist.

    – Just by blogging.

These simple, basic principles are what have created some of the most trafficked blogs on the internet …along with creating high conversions of leads, sales …and money.  🙂

How To Increase Website Traffic

In today’s lesson, David Wood showed you the importance of blogging every day, where website traffic comes from, and how to drive traffic to your website without having to be a SEO expert or social media specialist.  The main points were:

* The “Why To” vs The “How To”

Remember that the “How To” constantly changes as technology advances and previous “how to” methods become saturated with too many users of that method.

The “Why To” will outlast the “how to” because you understand the motivating forces that create the ways “how to” do your marketing.

* Visualizing A Web Site

Think of an individual site like a lost island alone in the ocean …where you are building a beautiful resort.  If you want anyone to come stay at your resort, they’ll need to have a way to get there.  You will have to build bridges, roads, harbors for the boats, and flight patterns and airports for the planes.

When talking about a website, these pathways for traffic are the links that go to your site from other sites on the internet.  The links can take several forms  –  just like people like to travel to island resorts by different referred means of travel, they will come to your site by different varieties of links.

The more ways you provide to find your site, the more traffic you will generate to your site.

“Bridges” to your site can be items such as:

* Articles  –  links from articles posted on directories. These can also be links coming from other blog posts or forums.

* Videos  –  create a video and post it to youtube or to Facebook and link it back to your blog post.

* Pictures  –  you can upload photos to Facebook or photo sharing sites such as Flickr and link them back to your posts.  Also, the pictures that you share in your posts will rank on Google and link back to your post.

* Social Media  –  sharing on social sites such as Twitter, StumbleUpon, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. There are many others that you’ve probably never even heard of.

* Authority Links  –  the more “Authority” the link has that is pointing to your site, the better.  Links that come from large, reputable sites are seen and used more to get to your site rather than the lesser known links.  Also, links with authority will bring more people to your site, while smaller links may bring only one or two people a day.

Blogging Daily Provides Natural Organic Traffic

Natural traffic is created by creating good content that people want to go to on their own.  Unnatural content can also bring in traffic but it is short-lived and, once shut off, it’s gone.  Natural traffic has viral sustainability when your blog posts have good content and are created consistently.

How Many Days Should You Blog Daily?

90 DAYS STRAIGHT …as a MINIMUM.

Towards the end of the 3rd month of the Empower Network officially being online, the traffic to the site jumped by 300% within a week.  It can be proven again and again that 90 days of consistent content creation will generate massive amounts of traffic.

In Summary…

Spend more time focusing on “why” things happen rather than “how” they happen so that you can unlock your creativity and make your own way of “how to” do things.

Blog Daily …and post good quality content.

Dedicate yourself to constant learning. Spend 1 hour a day listening to your Inner Circle audios or other motivational speakers.  Learn something new and then blog about it.
