Welcome back to David Wood’s new training series on how to be successful in life. 

In today’s lesson, Dave talks about constructing the income and financial independence that will allow you to live the life of your dreams. 

“The Art Of Constructing A Lifestyle” 

In the last lesson, we learned how important it is to have a clear picture of your success and what you are willing to do to achieve it.

What’s also important is to know what you are not willing to do.

In the video, Dave gives the example of making 3 way calls to build his network marketing business and how he ended up being on the phone 15 hours a day.

One day, he made the decision that he no longer was willing to do that …that he would find another way …which lead to the creation of his  “Hang up the phone and pick up the check“  attitude.

For me, my “other way” was to build my business online.  When I made that choice, I had no interest in sitting at my computer for 10-12 hours a day …but that’s what I found myself doing.

Doesn’t sound like freedom to me!

I had simply replaced one job with another one …that gave me even less free time to do the things I wanted to do.

Empower Network’s philosophy of “building a business while having a life” is what first attracted me to the opportunity and it’s still true today.

Don’t get trapped by your current business strategies to where you don’t have the free time to enjoy your success.

Once you know your answers, you’re on your way to having financial independence and your dream lifestyle.

Most people get started in this business, or any other business with a single intention; to live their dream by making “more” money.

Exactly how much money is “more” is almost never defined, because they fail to strategically construct their lifestyle.

Keep in mind that you should make money in the way that you want …so that you can live the way that you want.

Design your life.  Ask yourself what do you want your life to be like?  How does it look?  What do you do?  Where do you go?  Who do you see?
