We learned that people have different types of buying personalities and that each personality has its own preferred way of making a purchasing decision.

Some people like to buy from a store …some like to buy from catalogs …some like to buy over the phone or online …while some will never buy online …and some will only buy based on a friend’s recommendation.

“People like to buy things in their own way”

Whether or not someone will buy from you depends on how the sales information is received by their “buying personality”.

If you present your product in a way that is not their preferred way of receiving information, they won’t buy from you.  It’s as simple as that.

Think of it this way, if you are using only one method of getting your message out …

to promote your product, service, or opportunity …

and there are a hundred different buying personalities,

then you are missing out on reaching the vast majority of people. (99%)

There are two main ways of promoting your online business …online (obviously) and offline.

In previous boot camp lessons, we have discussed the online marketing strategies of email, video, written sales letters, articles, and blog posts.

Offline Marketing Methods

When it comes to promoting your mlm, network marketing, or affiliate marketing programs, offline methods have a stigma of being face to face doing painful business presentations.

However, face to face does not have to be painful, and offline modalities also include direct mail and using the phone in unique ways that grab attention.

Direct Mail  –  post cards, sales letters, newsletters

Phone  –  voicebroadcasting, telemarketing, personal coaching

Face to Face  –  a get together, meetup groups, training seminar, events, coaching

Because these are more advance methods, they require you to take the initiative to locate some tools that will help you to set them up.  For more in-depth details on how to get set up, refer to Lesson 7 in the Costa Rica Intensive.

As Dave pointed out in the video, many of these advanced methods are a PAID form of marketing …and, because of this, a lot of people will overlook these great marketing strategies.
